What We Do?

At SNEH – Sustainability, Nurturing, Empowerment & Health, we work towards creating a sustainable and self-reliant agricultural ecosystem through organic farming, research, education, and community empowerment. Our initiatives are designed to benefit farmers, students, women, and rural communities by promoting environmentally responsible and skill-based agricultural practices.

  • Organic Cultivation
We practice 100% organic farming using natural and eco-friendly agricultural methods. Our cultivation system focuses on soil health, biodiversity conservation, sustainable resource management, and chemical-free food production. Through innovative organic practices, we aim to promote healthier farming systems and environmental sustainability.

  • Increasing Organic Matter
“Promoting practices such as adding plant litter, animal waste and mulch to agricultural land to increase soil biomass.”

  • Citizen Mobilization
“Activating as many people as possible to demonstrate civic support so that ecological revitalization becomes a fundamental election issue.”

  • Regenerative Revolution
“A transformative program reshaping agriculture in and around Moradabad by supporting farmers and students to transition to scientific regenerative and natural farming practices through immersive training and handholding support focused on restoring soil health, improving farm economics. The project aims at community led shift to make regenerative agriculture a mainstream model across the state.”

  • Training for B.Sc. (Agriculture) Students
SNEH provides practical field training and exposure to B.Sc. (Agriculture) students under programs such as RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) and ELP (Experiential Learning Program). Students gain hands-on experience in organic farming, crop management, sustainable agriculture, beekeeping, and rural agricultural practices, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world farming.

  • Farmer Training & Skill Development
We regularly organize farmer training programs, workshops, demonstrations, and awareness sessions to educate farmers about organic farming techniques, soil management, crop nutrition, integrated pest management, and sustainable agricultural practices. Our aim is to improve farmers’ knowledge, productivity, and livelihood opportunities.

  • Women Empowerment & Awareness Programs
SNEH actively works towards women empowerment through awareness programs, training sessions, and community participation initiatives. We encourage women to engage in sustainable agriculture, nutrition awareness, self-employment activities, and rural development programs that help build confidence, skills, and financial independence.

  • Skill Development & Certification Programs
As a recognized SID Hub associated with NSDC and ASCI, SNEH conducts skill development programs including the 6-Month Agri Service Input Dealer Certificate Course. The program provides practical agricultural knowledge and professional training that supports employment opportunities and eligibility for fertilizer, seed, and pesticide licenses.

  • Honey Bee Rearing & Natural Honey Production
SNEH is actively involved in honey bee rearing and natural honey production. Our beekeeping initiatives support pollination, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable agriculture while producing pure and natural honey through ethical and eco-friendly practices.

  • Research & Community Development
SNEH continuously works on research, innovation, and sustainable agricultural development through field demonstrations, awareness campaigns, and community engagement activities. We are also actively involved in seed production and the trial of new crop varieties to evaluate their performance, adaptability, yield potential, and suitability under organic farming conditions.

Through these research activities, we aim to identify better farming solutions, promote improved agricultural practices, and provide farmers with knowledge about high-performing and sustainable crop varieties. Our goal is to inspire environmentally responsible farming while building healthier, productive, and self-reliant rural communities.
