Director’s Message

At SNEH – Sustainability, Nurturing, Empowerment & Health, our journey is driven by a simple yet powerful belief — agriculture should nourish both people and nature. Established under the guidance of the C.L. Gupta Charitable Foundation, SNEH is committed to creating awareness about sustainable agriculture and building opportunities for farmers, students, women, and rural communities.

Today, farming is changing rapidly, and along with increased production, there is also a growing concern about soil degradation, environmental imbalance, and the impact of chemicals on human health. At SNEH, we are working to address these challenges through practical solutions, innovation, education, and community participation.

Our focus is not limited to organic farming alone. We are continuously working on research activities, seed production, and trials of new crop varieties to identify better and more sustainable agricultural practices. Through field demonstrations and practical exposure, we help farmers understand modern organic techniques that improve soil health and long-term productivity.

One of the key strengths of SNEH is its commitment towards education and skill development. We proudly provide training opportunities to B.Sc. (Agriculture) students under RAWE and ELP programs, helping them gain real-time field experience and practical agricultural knowledge beyond classrooms.

We also strongly believe in community participation and inclusive growth. Through farmer training programs, women awareness initiatives, workshops, and rural development activities, SNEH is working to empower people with knowledge, confidence, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

As a recognized SID Hub associated with NSDC and ASCI, we have also started the 6-Month “Agri Service Input Dealer” Certificate Course to support rural youth and individuals who could not continue formal education. This skill development initiative provides practical agricultural training and recognized certification, helping participants move towards employment and self-reliance. After completing the course, eligible candidates can apply for Fertilizer, Seed, and Pesticide/Agro-Chemical Licenses, creating opportunities for entrepreneurship and agri-business development.

At SNEH, our vision is to build a future where agriculture is sustainable, farmers are empowered, youth are skilled, women are aware and self-reliant, and communities grow in harmony with nature. We remain committed to innovation, learning, and responsible agricultural development for a healthier and greener tomorrow.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all farmers, students, women groups, trainers, researchers, and supporters who continue to be a part of this meaningful journey. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier, and more sustainable agricultural future.

“When we protect the soil, we protect life itself.”
