Chairman's Message

Welcome to SNEH – Sustainability, Nurturing, Empowerment & Health, an initiative established under the guidance of the C.L. Gupta Charitable Foundation with the vision of promoting sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, healthy living, and rural empowerment.

In today’s time, excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides has become a serious concern for agriculture and society. Continuous chemical-based farming is reducing the natural fertility and energy of the soil, affecting biodiversity, and disturbing ecological balance. At the same time, the increasing use of chemicals in food production is contributing to various health-related problems in society.

Keeping these challenges in mind, SNEH was established with the objective of encouraging and promoting organic and sustainable farming practices that help restore soil health, protect the environment, and provide safe and nutritious food for future generations. We strongly believe that healthy soil is the foundation of healthy crops, healthy communities, and a healthy nation.

At SNEH, we continuously motivate and support farmers towards adopting organic cultivation methods, natural resource conservation, and eco-friendly agricultural practices. Through awareness programs, demonstrations, training sessions, and field activities, we are working to reduce dependency on harmful chemicals and encourage sustainable agricultural systems that work in harmony with nature.

Our centre is actively engaged in 100% organic farming, honey bee rearing, natural honey production, seed production, and new crop variety trials to promote innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions. Along with farming activities, SNEH also serves as a centre for research, education, and skill development.

We proudly provide practical exposure and training to B.Sc. (Agriculture) students through programs such as RAWE (Rural Agricultural Work Experience) and ELP (Experiential Learning Program), helping students gain real field experience and understand the importance of sustainable agriculture.

SNEH also works extensively for farmer training, women empowerment, and rural awareness programs. Through workshops, community participation initiatives, and educational programs, we aim to empower farmers, women, and rural youth with knowledge, skills, and opportunities for self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.

After receiving recognition from the Government of India, SNEH also started the NSDC-certified 6-Month “Agri Service Input Dealer” Skill Development Course in alignment with the honorable Prime Minister’s vision of empowering individuals who could not continue their education due to various circumstances. This initiative especially supports marginal farmers and rural youth by providing practical agricultural education and professional opportunities.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a recognized certification through which they become eligible to apply for Fertilizer, Seed, and Pesticide/Agro-Chemical Licenses, creating pathways for employment, entrepreneurship, and agri-business development.

At SNEH, our mission is not only to improve agriculture but also to build awareness about environmental protection, healthy food systems, and sustainable living. We believe that through collective efforts, education, innovation, and responsible farming, we can create a greener, healthier, and more self-reliant future for coming generations.

I sincerely thank all farmers, students, researchers, women groups, partners, and community members for their trust and continuous support in this journey towards sustainable agricultural development.

“Let us nurture the soil today for a healthier tomorrow.”
